ACC Senior Services is looking for full-time Grant Writer who is dedicated to serving our Non-Profit Organization and the greater Sacramento Community. This position is non-exempt, and reports to the Director of Marketing and Development. ACC prioritizes employees and offers reputable benefits for full time employees which includes:

This position pays up to $32 an hour. Pay based on experience.
GENERAL SUMMARY: ACC’s fund development and donor services team is a dynamic, collaborative group focused on expanding and diversifying the organization’s philanthropic revenue. The Grant Writer position researches grant prospects, develops compelling proposals with program staff, and manages submission and reporting deadlines with minimal supervision. In addition, the grant coordinator will work with fund development and donor services colleagues to process donations, gift acknowledgments, donor reports, and donor database administration.
Required Education and Experience
- Must succesfully complete a criminal background check and pre-placement physical exam.
- One to three years’ experience with successful grant writing and administration, deadline tracking, and meeting funding goals. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of fundraising information sources such as foundation databases.
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, and ability to interact with all levels of management, other employees, and organizations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated skill with balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated skill with exercising discretion and independent judgment.
- Flexibility and willingness to work evenings or weekends when needed.
- Valid California driver’s license.
