ACCEL Schools is seeking a friendly, energetic and ethical Family and Community Liaison for Cornerstone Academy located in Westerville, Ohio that is dedicated to providing a superior education for all students in our upcoming 2023-2024 school year!

About the Opportunity:
The Family and Community Liaison provides family outreach in a manner that increases parent and broader community involvement in the school.
Responsibilities of the Family and Community Liaison include-
- Contact parents and families through phone calls, home visits and meetings at the school
- Provide parents with clarification on school policy and procedures such as enrollment, attendance, dress code, and student conduct
- Develop written materials to be shared with families
- Facilitate communications between parents and teachers or other school staff
- Refer families to school and community resources as appropriate
- Establish and maintain community partnerships to provide services to students
- Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to, morning duty, dismissal duty, and lunch duty
About You:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and web based applications
- 2 years’ community outreach experience
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Understanding and ability to manage confidential information
- Ability to pass federal and state background checks
