Company Description

Our client is an outdoor advertising company that partners with municipalities to provide them with solar recycling kiosks which are then funded through the sale of advertising.   Our client launched its first successful program in 2016 in NYC and also has media in Atlanta and Philadelphia, with plans to grow into additional cities around the US.

 

Position Summary:

Our client is looking for a National Account Executive based in the NYC market. The National Account Executive will be responsible for the sale of outdoor advertising across all of the company’s media assets to local, regional, and national advertisers. The ideal candidate should have experience in OOH media sales, with a track record of success, and have relationships with the NY OOH media community. He/She should also be comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment.  He/She will need to work independently, as this is a remote position. Candidates should be energetic and self-starters, looking to create, grow and nurture a portfolio of business while promoting the company’s assets to client and agency partners.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Meet and exceed sales target through prospecting new business and developing client relationships.
  • Work hours will consist of prospecting, calling and closing new business through cold calling by phone, email and in person
  • Become proficient in understanding market and media information, prospecting new business, qualifying potential advertisers and growing existing accounts
  • Prepare presentations, reports, projections and proposals for all business.

 Required and Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of media sales experience, OOH experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Market knowledge

Compensation:

  • Base salary plus aggressive commission structure
