Acceleron is also advancing its neuromuscular program with ACE-083, a locally-acting Myostatin+ agent in Phase 2 development in Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and is conducting a Phase 2 pulmonary program with sotatercept in pulmonary arterial hypertension.
What’s in it for you?
Reporting to the Sr Director of IT this role will be a key member of the IT team, with a primary focus for managing the Veeva/CRM and Vault systems on the SFDC infrastructure and internal SharePoint site. The Veeva Business Systems Analyst will support our new Veeva applications including CRM, PromoMats, QMS and RIMS. In addition, the individual will work in conjunction with the Commercial, Quality and Regulatory departments to support, promote and monitor the optimal utilization of all Veeva applications to ensure departmental goals are achieved including project management, release management, requirements gathering, testing, training, and end user support.
What will you be doing?
- Work in partnership with the business to understand and document its business processes, issues, challenges and opportunities
- Work with the IT team to get the necessary solutions in place to support business processes
- Veeva report building to export and support offline excel tools and spreadsheets, with extensive formulas, macros and template versions.
- Work directly with the Support teams to bring open Help Desk issues to a resolution by triage and monitoring progress.
- Works with BU and Brand Lead to understand business needs and provide effective efficient requirements for Veeva Vault, Approved Email and Veeva Engage.
- Define and develop full SOPs on the process to maintain and enhance the field and patient focused commercial & medical systems to leverage in their roles to ensure sustainability and efficiency.
- Provide training support for the customer facing roles work closely with the business units in the development, communication and training of Veeva changes or enhancements & remediation plans for all employees.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining documentation and QC process around application development, dashboards, reports, and any other functional areas as required.
- Responsible for the overall configuration, design, and functionality of the Salesforce/Veeva functions
- Conduct analysis and documentation of existing business processes; recommend process improvements
- Assist team leads with resource allocation and resolving program issues
- Configuring and maintaining the functional objects of Salesforce.com
- Creating and managing workflow rules, data validations, triggers, and object customizations
- Creating and maintaining reports and dashboards
- Customizing Salesforce.com/Veeva fields, page layouts, record types, searching, list views, etc…
- Managing operational requests and assisting in the escalated triage of support issues, working with diverse user groups
- Assist in gathering requirements to continuously improve the Veeva platform
- Assisting in the evaluation of new Veeva & Salesforce.com functionality and App Exchange tools for feasibility and impact to the business
What are we looking for?
Required skills:
- 5 years of experience preferred in Biotech/Pharma industry
- A minimum of 3 years Salesforce.com/Veeva Administrator experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred
- Demonstrated ability to improve procedures and standards, ensuring quality and delivery of service to customers
- Demonstrated ability to document clear business requirements and solutions needed to meet business needs and to translate them into functional designs for Veeva applications
- Demonstrated ability to perform effective prioritization and drive results with a high emphasis on quality and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and relationships with business users and leaders
- Must be highly analytical and have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to cultivate relationships with key internal stakeholders throughout the IT and business organizations
- Candidate should have experience with system and application monitoring
- Experience with vendor management
- Experience developing, leading and performing large application test plans (functional UAT and SIT integration)
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Dell Boomi
- Veeva Certified & Veeva Vault experience preferred
- SharePoint experience preferred
