• Responsible for analysis, design, code, and testing of multiple components of application code for multiple Texas Medicaid systems using CASE tools (CA Gen / AllFusion Gen / Cool:Gen). 
• Involved in maintenance, enhancement and/or development work of modules and those that interface with other applications.
• Has a range of technical skills including CASE tool development, structured programming, and SQL. 
• Combines technical skills with knowledge Texas Medicaid systems and business processes to develop effective solutions. 
• As a senior team member, performs coaching, coordinates/oversees the work of others, and may lead small work efforts. 
• Significant client interaction and responsible for maintaining client relationships. 
• Participates in pager/on-call support, deployment of production releases, and introduction of new services into production environment. 
• Helps identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  

• Application Maintenance and/or development (15 years' experience)
• CA Gen/AllFushion Gen/Cool: Gen, C, C , C# Net, Java, SQL  (15 years' experience)
  
• 1 year of management technical experience 
  
• Experience with Texas Medicaid or comparable healthcare or claims processing industry 
• Experience with specific technical platforms including HP NonStop (aka NSK, Tandem), Unix, or Linux 
• Experience providing production on-call support 
• Experience maintaining customer relationships
