Federal - Discovery Analyst

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Discovery Analyst who will use their network and technical background to solve problems and answer analytical questions. You will use your understanding of how networks function, how adversaries behave on the internet, and perform analysis of digital network and mobile communications.

Here's what you need:

• Thorough understanding of TCP/IP and common protocols such as SSH, HTTPS, SMTP, DNS, BGP, DHCP

• Understanding of the OSI model and its relevance to internet technologies

• Comfort with the internet threat landscape such as malware analysis, analysis of threat indicators, and indicators of compromise

• Ability to analyze network traffic data for anomalous or malicious activity with tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, and tshark

Bonus points if you have:

• Network

• Security

• CISSP

• OSCP

• CEH

• Any of a number of active Cyber Certifications including but not limited to: GPEN, GXPN, GCFE, GCFA, and OSCP

Special consideration given for the following skills:

• Scripting skills (e.g. Python, Bash)

• Experience with UNIX operating systems.

• Ability to develop network and malware signatures (e.g. Yara, Snort)

• C

• SIGINT experience

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role

California: $73,900 - $115,100

Colorado: $73,900 - $99,400

New York City: $85,500 - $115,100

Washington: $78,600 - $105,900
