Responsibilities:
Strategic Consulting: Partner with pharmaceutical clients to understand their business objectives and challenges. Provide strategic consulting services to align Veeva solutions with client needs and goals, ensuring maximum value realization and ROI.
Veeva Implementation: Lead the implementation of Veeva's cloud-based software solutions, including Veeva Vault, Veeva CRM, Veeva MedComms, and other relevant applications. Engage with tclients around understanding business requirements and be able to translate them into functional requirements. Customize Veeva configurations, workflows, and integrations to meet the specific requirements of each client and across all stakeholder groups (Business, IT, Leadership)
System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Veeva applications with existing systems and third-party platforms, such as ERP systems, data warehouses, and analytics tools. Ensure seamless data exchange and interoperability to optimize business processes and data-driven decision-making.
User Training and Support: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs and materials to educate pharmaceutical clients on the use of Veeva applications. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to end users, addressing technical issues and optimizing system usability.
Business Process Optimization: Analyze current business processes and workflows within pharmaceutical organizations. Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation using Veeva solutions. Design and implement efficient, scalable processes to streamline operations and drive productivity gains.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that Veeva implementations and configurations comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in the pharmaceutical sector. Stay informed about regulatory changes and updates relevant to Veeva applications, advising clients on compliance strategies.
Data Management and Governance: Implement data management and governance frameworks within Veeva Vault to ensure the integrity, security, and accessibility of pharmaceutical data assets. Define data standards, policies, and procedures to support data quality and consistency across the organization.
Project Management: Manage Veeva implementation projects from initiation to closure, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
Basic Qualifications:
7 years minimum experience in:
Life sciences commercial content experience
The content end to end process across the entire content supply chain (creative, regulatory approvals, distribution)
Client engagement, specifically with business stakeholders and end users across different functional groups
Implementing and supporting Veeva's cloud-based software solutions, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry. Familiarity with Veeva Vault, Veeva CRM, and other Veeva applications is highly desirable.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Veeva Administrator Certification) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong technical proficiency in Veeva configuration, customization, and integration capabilities. Experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC) and other related technologies is advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex business requirements, propose innovative solutions, and drive results.
Project management experience, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and deliver outcomes according to stakeholder expectations.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations, compliance requirements, and business processes is preferred.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
