Director of Operations

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Operations is a managerial position that supports the operations over access control, gate systems, overhead doors and parking control.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• This role is responsible for managing our construction installation teams
• Providing leadership, guidance and training to team members
• Makes recommendations regarding hiring, discipline and termination of employees
• Responsible for managing project labor and expenses while working within approved budget
• Must be a self-starter and willing to take initiative
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Minimum of 5 years experience in construction or install teams
• As a condition of employment, ACT will conduct a background check and drug screen

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Gates, overhead doors, access control or parking control experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed in a fast-paced warehouse setting with frequent interruptions. Duties may require standing and walking for long periods of time. The employee is expected to work alongside the crew and demonstrate the install process when necessary. Occasional need to drive a vehicle to other work locations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
