AMR partners with in-house debt recovery organizations and accounts receivable departments of commercial entities and governmental agencies.  

Position Summary:

The Recovery Specialist will be responsible for the collection of past due accounts as assigned in a fast-paced goal orientated call center environment. Training for this position is in person and the position will transition to being fully remote once they have shown satisfactory knowledge of the job duties. They will handle outbound and inbound calls, supporting our Spanish speaking customers. They will provide excellent customer service and skip tracing searches when relevant, regarding the collection of past due accounts as well as consumer inquiries and disputes. On-going training and the opportunity to obtain the ACA Collector certification will be provided.

Candidates should be self-motivated, effective communicators, excellent negotiators and have the ability to navigate sensitive situations.

Essential Job Functions:

• Recover payments of delinquent accounts through outbound and inbound calls
• Retain system knowledge and company process to thoroughly and accurately work accounts
• Negotiating
• Skip tracing searches to be performed when relevant to the collection of past due accounts

Bi-monthly bonuses are rewarded based on the amount of fees we, as a team, can recover. In other words, if one of us wins, then we all win!

• 1st Level Bonus = $250
• 2nd Level Bonus = $375
• 3rd Level Bonus = $500

Qualifications

Education and Experience Guidelines:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with third party collections and/or medical collections is preferred

Requirements:

• Must be able to attend onsite training before transitioning to 100% remote 
• Must have a high-speed internet connection available in your home
• Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 or be able to complete the series before your date of hire
• Pre-employment drug screenings and criminal background checks are mandatory.
