Job Posting for Accounting Clerk at Accounting Now
Accounting Clerk to handle matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry, and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). How you will make an impact
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
Help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other general accounting projects
Create statements and reports that require the use of several sources
Code documents using the proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes
Reconcile discrepancies by examining possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as needed
File vendor invoices and disbursements and match & file A/P invoices to support accounts payable
Assist Accounts Receivable with processing daily invoices/credit, applying cash receipts, and collecting past due balances
Post financial information to journals and ledgers.
Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
