Job Posting for Payroll Specialist at Accounting Principals
Accounting Principals has partnered with a local client to identify a Payroll Specialist for their team. This is an opportunity with an outstanding organization offering outstanding benefits, welcoming company culture and very low turnover. This position is open only because the current employee is transitioning to another department.
Responsibilities:
Provides payroll support to employees
Explain internal policies & procedures to employees regarding payroll
Maintain complete and accurate payroll documentation and transactions.
Performing payroll reconciliations.
Preparing financial reports for accounting and auditing purposes.
Process commissions, bonuses, and other special pays.
Conduct payroll and benefit audits.
Ensure employee records for tax withholdings, direct deposits, time off requests, deductions, garnishments, etc. are up-to-date.
Preparing periodic payroll reports for review by management
Qualifications:
?3 years of payroll experience
Prior experience with Paycom software is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy is a must
Pay: $50k
