**This role is based out of our newly acquired company, Eustice Consulting.**
A Mental Health Professional Ⅱ works under the direction of a Clinical Supervisor and Mental Health Treatment Director to provide clinical services to our clients. The services provided include individual therapy and family therapy.
The Mental Health Professional Ⅱ must meet the following qualifications:
- Holds a master's or other graduate degree in behavioral sciences. Degrees in the field of Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family is required.
- Is working towards clinical licensure in the field of Mental Health services.
- Has at least a year of experience working with adults or children with a mental illness.
- Understand the causes and symptoms of mental health issues, a knowledge of coping skills, risk assessment, family dynamics and supports, crisis management, relapse prevention, conflict resolution skills, have analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of substance abuse and co-occurring mental illness and how they intersect.
- Understand crisis management and the ability to deal with life threatening situations including the prevention of suicide.
- Knowledge and experience creating treatment plans, writing progress notes, and creating client assessments.
