Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and modernization of elevators, escalators, and related equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems in elevators and implement effective solutions.
- Test and adjust elevator systems to optimize performance and ensure smooth operation.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Keep abreast of industry advancements and technological developments in elevator systems.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or technical training is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Elevator Mechanic with a strong understanding of elevator systems and components.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to elevators and escalators.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy equipment and materials.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Commitment to safety protocols and compliance with all regulations.
