LEAD SANITIZER
Accupac is hiring for a full-time Lead Sanitizer to join our Lakewood, NJ facility.
Lead Sanitizer Basic Job Functions:
Job Summary:
Responsible to clean and sanitize production line filling hoppers and auxiliary equipment to prevent product contamination during the packaging process following Standard Operating Procedures in compliance with cGMP's and safety regulations. Responsible to train subordinates in appropriate sanitizing procedures. Also responsible to work on preventative maintenance and participate in training programs when required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Must have successfully completed all four (4) levels of the Sanitizer Skill Level Chart.
- Ensure proper replacement parts are ordered for filling equipment.
- Communicate and train sanitizers regarding proper cleaning, sanitization and documentation procedures
- Perform sanitizations and clean-outs
- Maintain productivity and efficiency goals set by management.
- Communicate appropriately with Manufacturing Department to assist in setting priorities.
- Perform job in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements of the Job:
- Possess fluency in written and spoken English
- Possess ability to follow instructions and give instruction.
- Possess the ability to understand Standard Operating Procedures, cGMP’s and communicate their requirements to others
- Possess leadership skills and ability to work cooperatively and effectively with co-workers
- Possess the ability to work quickly
- Possess the ability to evaluate if equipment has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- Possess a working knowledge of tools and basic machinery operation
- Possess the ability to perceive parts of different size and shape and fit them together correctly
- Possess the ability to work around solvents and chemicals needed for sanitization tasks
- Possess the ability to work with hot water ( /- 180 degrees F) safely
Physical Requirements:
- Possess strength sufficient to lift up to 60 lbs
- Possess the ability to push a 55 gallon drum full of bulk product up to six feet
- Possess the ability to stand on concrete floors for full shift period
- Possess the ability to hear speech and/or alarms through plant noise
- Possess peripheral vision
- Possess eyesight with or without corrective lenses to discern differences in small type characters for coder set ups
- Possess the ability to recognize colors and shades of color
- Possess the physical mobility to reach overhead and bend at and below waist level
- Possess manual dexterity to unfasten and fasten large and small parts using hand tools
- Possess the ability to work with chemicals and solvents used for sanitizations. Must not be allergic to chemicals and solvents used for sanitizations
- Possess the ability to work overtime as needed
