Reports to: President
Job Purpose Summary: Directs and oversees all aspects of the finance & accounting, administration including financial report generation, analysis, cash flow management and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
· Support and execute timely and accurate month end and year-end close process.
· Coordinate the preparation of budget, financial forecast, report variances and sales reports, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of the information.
· Proper review and quality control over financial transactions, processes, procedures, and reporting
· Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.
· Ensures that effective internal controls are in place and ensures compliance with government reporting requirements and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
· Benefit administration, management of insurance broker relationships and program implementation.
· Handle all Company dealings with financial institutions in as far as providing requested information for loan facilities, being the primary contact, and managing the reconciliation of bank accounts.
· Administer all Company insurance policies including general business liability policy, property and WSIB policies.
· Manages processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company.
· Provides recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
· Responsibilities as outlined in Accurate’ s Quality Management System per SOP-400-03, Core Training Matrix (roles and responsibilities to satisfy IATF 16949)
Expectations:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting and Administration (minimum 7 years)
· A minimum of seven years of accounting and administration experience is required.
· Ability to handle detailed, complex concepts and problems.
· Ability to read, analyze and interpret business documents and financial statements.
· Ability to define problems, interpret data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
· Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices
· High level of integrity and dependability and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Proficient in computer use and MS Office Suite
Certifications:
· Certified Public Accountant designation
Term: Full time – permanent.
Working Conditions & Equipment used
The employee is exposed to high noise levels from operating machines and on the plant floor.
Potential hazards from moving equipment and machine parts, nuisance dust, and skin exposure to cutting and drawing oils.
The employee is expected to follow all health and safety rules and regulations as outlined in the Accurate Machine and Tool Handbook and as outlined by the Occupational Health & Safety Act in effect.
