We’re seeking an experienced Area Director of Sales to oversee and drive the sales strategy across multiple properties in our portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of professionals, develop and execute innovative sales strategies, and build strong relationships with key clients to maximize revenue and market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue goals across all assigned hotels.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring long-term business growth in the community and beyond.
- Collaboration: Work seamlessly with area managers, department supervisors, line-level staff, and executive teams to communicate and ensure every action plan is executed with precision and success.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly review key sales performance metrics and adjust strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Supervise: Direct and monitor all on-property sales activities, develop and refine new SOP’s and processes to enhance efficiency across properties.
- Educate: Lead your team to success in making the most of every interaction and group booking.
- Develop: Mentor and inspire a team of sales managers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Action Plan: Review effectiveness of all sales activities and create new, exciting initiatives to bring properties to their next level.
- Represent: Put your best foot forward to maintain the high standards of service our premium brands are known for.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hotel sales management, preferably in a multi-property or regional role.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze market data and trends to drive strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
