Electrical Project Manager/Estimator Compensation & Benefits
Total Compensation package for this position is between $90,000-$125,000 depending on previous work experience and education levels

Prepare proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate Experience on both large and small commercial projects; new construction, Design/Build, and remodel Attend pre-bid meetings and/or tour job sites to confirm existing site status Prepare estimates based off of scope of work outlined on drawings as well as bid specifications Keep hard copy record file of all pricing included in estimate obtained through vendors, estimating software, price lists, ect Work with other Estimators and Project Managers on a need by need basis During bid process review design options and recommend the best solution based on cost, engineering quality, and/or availability of materials Submit written, detailed scope of work included in bid price (when required) Project contract review upon awarding of project Conduct project kick off meeting with project foreman, follow through on project buy out, submittal process, ect. Price/Submit project documents, Change orders, RFI's, ect Generate relationships with General Contractors and all other prospective customers Provide support to field operations on a consistent basis Perform any additional assignments per supervisors request Promote company through community efforts and business circles via personal and professional organizations Electrical Project Manager/Estimator Qualifications
Minimum 5-10 year' experience with an electrical contractor working on commercial projects in the $1M-$5M range Familiarity and experience with Microsoft Excel, Foundations, McCormick, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit software(s) Working knowledge of electrical installation, estimating techniques, and cost control Ability to perform detailed work and successfully meet both project management and bid deadlines Must have a stable work history Previous supervisory experience preferred Working knowledge of National Electrical Code Ability to be proactive, not reactive Excellent communication skills Ambitious and forward thinking Desire to continue education and learn latest industry trends 3-5 years experience with complete design/build projects Passion for renewable energy solutions and methods Education (preferred not required)
AA degree or higher through program with electrical emphasis via trade school, community college or university if no degree, minimum of 5 years field experience *Please include any salary expectations with resume
