Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Patient Care Coordinator at Complete Eye Care in Westminster, CO. The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for appointment scheduling, phone etiquette, care coordination, medical terminology, and providing exceptional patient care on a daily basis.
Job Overview

- Answering phones *Scheduling appointments *Verification Billing Reconciliation of Insurances *ICD-10 term knowledge * Invoicing review and collection.
- Optical, Optometry experience preferred general Medical Accepted.
- Duties include but not limited to: Patient Check in and out, Insurance Authorizations, *Provide Patient Education &_ Presentation of fees for optical and optometry services, as well as information for procedures offered such as Lipiflow, IPL, Radiofrequency and general specialty dry eye services. General administration Ophthalmic assistant duties.

- Responsibilities
- - Coordinate patient appointments and ensure efficient scheduling
- - Manage patient inquiries and provide accurate information regarding services
- - Utilize medical scheduling software- Eye Cloud Pro
- - Assist with administrative tasks including maintaining patient records and updating databases
- - Collaborate with medical professionals to facilitate patient care processes
- - Handle incoming calls using phone systems and direct them appropriately
- - Support medical office management by organizing files, supplies, and equipment
- - Provide/Assist insurance verification and billing processes with reconciliation
Qualifications
- Medical administrative support and office experience
- Proficiency in medical terminology and EMR systems
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience with medical scheduling and patient service
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and HIPAA regulations
- Appointment Scheduling and Care Coordination skills
- Phone Etiquette and Patient Care skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in a healthcare or medical office setting is a plus
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field

Pay: $18.94 - $22.00 per hour
