Job Role
The Land Agent will play a pivotal role in assisting clients in navigating the land market, leveraging industry expertise to guide them through the buying or selling process. The successful candidate will be well-versed in the nuances of the land market, including understanding different land types, local market dynamics, and financial aspects of land transactions.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain trust with clients and landowners, ensuring confidentiality and privacy.
- Conduct market research to determine land values and develop effective marketing strategies.
- Manage property listings and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Provide expert advice on land management, including soil types, topography, and wildlife identification.
- Attend industry events and stay updated on real estate market trends.
- Collaborate with the AcrePro team and other real estate professionals for successful transactions.
- Participate in training and skills-development workshops.
- Network with industry professionals and potential clients.
- Represent AcrePro at local seminars, expos, and events.
Qualifications
- Minnesota real estate license, or ability to obtain.
- Proven experience in land sales, real estate, or related field.
- Knowledge of area land management and farming practices, rental markets, soil types, topography, and wildlife identification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to conduct market research and determine land values.
- Proficiency in real estate software and tools.
- Team player with a commitment to AcrePro's values and mission.
- Willingness to travel and work in varied settings.
- Valid driver's license.
