Job Title : Large Business Commercial Insurance Account Manager

Location : Lee, MA
Job Summary :
Responsible for servicing accounts within the Large Business Division as assigned by management. Work with customers and companies within defined procedures while maintaining the highest ethical standard in all dealings with carriers, clients, and co-workers to process business, analyze policies and exposures, resolve issues, etc.
to achieve department goals.
Account Servicing :
Handle all calls / mail / email communication from insured and / or carriers that is not policies, endorsements or audits
Resolve any discrepancies identified by account assistant in policies and endorsements received (PCDI’s)
Assist with resolution of claims as requested of claims specialist
Handle all miscellaneous account specific correspondence
Explain audit procedures to clients and review interim reports for accuracy if needed
Remarket accounts as required at direction of Account Executive
Renew policies by agency standards
Inform and educate clients about coverage, exclusions, and exposures o Assist clients in making appropriate coverage changes
Respond to all client inquiries regarding their insurance program including producing binders, certificates, policies and other related items accurately and per agency procedures and standards
Maintain agency files including client electronic file in agency management system accurately and consistently
Provide technical support to Account Executive (coverage related, proposals, market spreadsheets, suspense items, etc) to assist clients and reach agency’s goals.
Advise Account Executive of non standard developments / changes / activity on accounts
Renewal Business CA , CB , CC :
Review and complete renewal packets per procedures for Account Executive Meeting with client o Complete COW’ (Client, Opportunity, Website) report for each client with renewal packet
Market or order renewal quote per direction of Account Executive per o Prepare renewal presentation as required for Account Executive
Obtain required documents and payments to finalize renewal binding
Submit required documents to carriers for binding or issue internal binder submitting to carrier for policy issuance
Update Applied system to reflect ordered renewal terms
New Business CA , CB , CC :
Finalize completion of Applied and supplemental applications so accurately reflect required underwriting information and desired coverages.
Submit applications with supporting documents to markets designated by Account Executive for quotes
Quote accounts via carrier websites when applicable o Establish and complete marketing quote spreadsheet
Prepare proposals as required for Account Executive
Obtain required documents and payments to complete file upon binding
Submit required documents to carriers for binding, issue internal binder submitting to carrier for policy issuance, or issue electronically if applicable
Account Rounding :
Continually be aware of client exposure vs insurance program making recommendations of additional protection and handle communication with carrier, client, etc as needed.
Assist department with development and executive of account rounding program of current clients
Miscellaneous :
Innovate to improve the quality of service provided to clients
Assist or complete other tasks as directed by agency management
Assist Commercial Lines team members in responding to client’s needs during staffing shortage
