What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse, PICU position at Acruex inc?
PICU EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
***THIS IS A CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL POSITION**
**RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING WITH ETAs of when it will post**
Required:
CA License
First to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including ED
Will care for all age ranges and levels of acuity
BLS
PALS
2 years of Pediatric ICU experience
Previous ICU Float Pool Experience
Experience: Ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG.
Preferred:
Level 1 trauma
BSN
Travel experience
Children’s and teaching hospital experience
EPIC experience.
Shifts:
36/48 variable start times (4 weekend shifts sat-sun on day shift and then 5 shifts of fri-sat nights – traveler gets off one full weekend every 4 week schedule)
Requested Time Off:
Max 6 days (Must still get 3 shifts in per week)
Must work 2 of the 3 Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s)
Patient Population: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, **neurosurgery. Trauma, hem onc, DKA if PH or altered consciousness
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $3,276.00 per week
