What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician position at ACS?
Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Lab Tech is responsible for providing support to the Chemists. This role also involves adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) to ensure the quality and quantity of the products produced.
Responsibilities
- Conduct entry-level analysis and evaluations
- Support Chemists by preparing samples for analysis
- Perform laboratory stocking and cleaning
- Comply with company policies and procedures, maintaining regular work attendance
- Take personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs, and cGMP guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Word and Excel
- Prior laboratory experience
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to respond to verbal and written instructions
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $22.60 - $26.70 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
