What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Inspector position at ACT Power?
ACT is a growing, local company who is looking to add detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspectors to our Quality team. The Quality Assurance Inspector will inspect electronic systems, assemblies, subasssemblies, components and parts for conformance to drawings, procedures and specifications at all stages of operation. In addition, the position provides guidance to personnel in following proper procedures and protocols to meet quality requirements. Previous quality experience and/or experience working with electronics preferred; however, we are willing to train an employee looking to learn a new career.
Hours are 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Full benefits package offered including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401K with company match, holidays and PTO.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years of experience handling electronic assembly components preferred, but not required
- Ability to read and understand drawings, procedures and bills of material
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, decimals and fractions
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
