Description:
Work as a part of the Analytical Services team which is responsible for Analytical Method Development, Method Validation, Method Optimization, Method Transfer projects in support of global manufacturing facilities and laboratories. Will also support analytical projects for customer investigations, customer complaints, product complaints customer trials for new product development, or other projects to support R&D/Innovations.
Perform Analytical Chemistry testing utilizing HPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS, ICP, as well as plate-based enzyme analysis.
Samples will range from product feed or pre-mix samples to biological samples from research studies.
Will perform own sample preparation, operate analytical instrumentation, analyze results, and send for review.
Will clean area and dispose of chemical waste.
Will document approved results in LIMS for tracking.
May write up research reports from a template.
Typical week will vary based on project, types of samples and analysis required. 50/50 mix on average between analytical testing and enzyme testing.

BS Degree or MS Degree in Chemistry
3-5 years of HPLC experience in an R&D or Research environment or Technical Services/CRO
MS Degree and Research experience could suffice without industry experience
