Description:
Responsible for testing OTC Products in the Chemistry Lab. Analytical instrumentation and wet chemistry tests.
Conduct routine analytical chemical testing on products submitted to the lab, this includes analysis of raw materials, in process batches and finished goods or bulk samples
Conducts specialized analytical testing as directed by Lab Manager, in support of development projects, new products, method troubleshooting or as part of Out-of-Spec investigations
Documentation per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
GC, HPLC, UV/Visible Spectrophotometry and FTIR. Will learn to troubleshoot and perform routine preventative maintenance
Conducts analytical work in support of cleaning validations and engineering trials
Must Haves:
Degree in Chemistry
Analytical Instrumentation experience (HPLC, GC, GC-MS, FTIR)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
BS Degree in Chemistry, but also very open to all Laboratory Sciences Degrees.
