Location: Westchester, NY
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Masters of Science in Biology Degree or any related field
Experience with in vivo techniques including, mouse handling, proficiency in mouse injections (i.v., s.c., i.p., i.m.)
Experience with molecular biology techniques (elisa, cell culture, western blot)
Experience with basic molecular biology techniques, FACS-isolation of primary cells, culture, and functional assays is preferred but we are willing to train.
Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
Responsibilities:
- This is a bench-based discovery research role supporting the development of therapeutics using preclinical mouse models of cartilage and bone diseases.
- Have thorough understanding of and the ability to apply established principles of mouse models in cartilage and bone diseases, follow standard operating protocols in in vivo & in vitro research.
- You will support multiple projects and investigators and provide lab management support such as ordering supplies and equipment, maintaining lab records, and adhering to safety regulations.
- 70% in vivo, 30% lab work
- This role has both discovery and technical aspects that primarily focus on in vivo studies.

Schedule:
Flexible as long as complete 8 hour shift
