What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automation Engineer (Remote) position at Actalent?
Description:
- Degree level qualification in appropriate engineering discipline (e.g. Electrical)
- 1 to 4 years of Automation execution experience, preferably in Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical and/or other hygienic industries
- Understanding of control requirements for common hygienic processes (e.g. pasteurization, CIP) beneficial
- Experience of working within, and leading, a technically oriented team
- Good level of competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge and experience of Siemens (preferred) and AB Rockwell (mandatory) programming environments (e.g. S7, TIA Portal, Contrologix)
- Experience of Wonderware SCADA and associated products (e.g. InTouch) beneficial
- SAP experience beneficial
- Must have technology experience: Siemens, AB Rockwell, TIA Portal, S7
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Have to have experience in the food and beverage industry or have experience with hygienic standards
- Automation experience
- Must be able to use Rockwell or very similar software
