What are the responsibilities and job description for the &C Technician position at Actalent?
Job Description
- Provide short-circuit analysis, breaker-duty study results, and protection requirements to interconnect a customer owned facility to company owned transmission system
- Create and update short-circuit model using customer provided facility data using Computer-Aided Protection Engineering (CAPE) software
- Specify protection schemes and relays at company owned facilities and the point of interconnection and review schemes based on transmission stability requirements
- Effectively communicate study results and protection requirements to interconnection customers and internal partners
- Review protection schemes based on the Transmission Stability organization’s requirements
- Actively engage in meetings with other organizations to provide technical expertise to customers and peer partners
