What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Drafter position at Actalent?
Description:
Our client is looking to have a project coordinator come to join their team in DC. The program is for the FMSCA (DOT offices throughout the country). They need someone who can come in to manage their space plans, work with the client, and ensure the documents are being modified to scope. They will maintain all of the floor backgrounds for the facilities/spaces, ensure that the CAD base building and furniture layouts are kept-up-to-date.
This person will review, analyze, and conduct research and draft correspondence in response to space requests. They will communicate the delivery of space and facilitate the installation of needed furniture and communications services and systems.
The ideal person will be someone who is comfortable in a heavy production role and is good with taking direction. The client can be demanding and is going to want to make sure all of the work is being done per their discretion.

60% AutoCAD production work
30% Walkthroughs with the client and taking measurements
10% Administrative work
