Job Description
We are urgently hiring a Civil Drafter to join our team in Ashburn, VA. As one of the largest multi-disciplined consulting engineering firms in Northern Virginia, we specialize in Data Centers and Land Development (Commercial and Residential) projects. The Civil Drafter will design Industrial, Commercial, and residential subdivision layouts under the guidance of a Licensed Professional Engineer and as a member of the project team. This role is essential to help manage our significant backlog of work and to support our team.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency with AutoCAD as it relates to Civil Engineering is required
- Degree or certification in Computer Aided Drafting and Design OR related experience
- Ability to assist Project Managers and Engineers in the planning and design of hydraulic and Stormwater collection systems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Flexibility in managing job tasks as deadlines and priorities change
- Desire to work in a team environment.
- Experience with Stormwater Management Design is a plus.
- Experience putting together site plans is a plus.
- Experience with Site Grading is a plus.
