What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Technician position at Actalent?
Description:
As a CADD Technician, you must be able to quickly adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You must have prior CADD tech experience at a land surveying firm. This role is expected to meet tight deadlines, efficiently manage time and adhere to job budgets set by project managers. The CADD technician will import survey field crew electronic data, notes, etc. and prepare field to finish boundaries, topographic As-built.
Daily processing of survey data, including checking for accuracy and completeness
Preform deed research and deed plotting
Prepare legal descriptions, survey drawings and plats
Review construction plans and prepare files to aid field crew for layout
Organize and manage multiple project assignments
Provide technical office support
Plan, prioritize and organize effectively: and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all staff and clients
Collect, organize, disseminate, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Organize, multi-task, prioritize and re-prioritize daily workload and work with minimum supervision and the ability to meet deadlines, establish deadlines and to prioritize deadlines
Ensure accuracy of reports by data review and resolving discrepancies internally for assigned project
Finalize CADD files and project folders for archiving
Carry out other duties as assigned by management
Experience with JEA, public works As-Builts and submittals
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Certified Survey Technician Certification Level III , S.I.T. Certification is a plus
