What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAE Engineer position at Actalent?
Description: The CAE Engineer is responsible for the overall development of validation, the creation & documentation of modeling plans to the engineering team and leading in failure analysis and test jig design.
- Independent FEA modeling setup & model check to ensure accurate analysis
- Create project reports and manager multiple projects
- Act as a liaison between customer and different groups within the company
- Evaluate validation requirement from customer and develop adequate test methods & design jigs
- Create test reports and present to customers
- Lead product testing and coordinate various activities
- Document test procedures, programs and test systems
Qualifications | MUST HAVE
- 2-3 Years experience related to simulation/validation (post schooling)
- Experience using Hypermesh, Abaqus or relative simulation software
- Knowledge of Metal Fatigue, NVH (Noise, vibration and harshness) and automotive chassis
- FEA experience
- B.S in engineering field
Additional Skills & Qualifications | NICE HAVE
- 5 Years of Validation Eng experience supporting the automotive industry
- Skillful in all software's including: Hypermesh, Abaqus, Ncode/DesignLife, Nastran
