What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chemist position at Actalent?
This person will support a large company in the Dayton area that produces consumer products. This role is open due to growth!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect samples including raw materials, finished product, process equipment and environmental
- Test raw materials and finished products per cGMP requirements and participate in lab investigations
- Operate lab equipment
- Participate in internal/external quality audits
- Maintain personal lab work area and assist with general lab cleaning
- Participate in training and development
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors Degree in Science discipline
- Work experience in anything outside of just school (retail, food, etc)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
6a-6p 2-2-3 rotating schedule.
**Will train on 1st 8-5 M-F for a couple weeks, then switch to the rotating schedule**
70% in lab, 30% on floor performing environmental testing (micro swabbing and line clearances)
