Registered Nurse

Lenoir City, Tennessee, Onsite, Day shift (Mon-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm)

✮ Job Description ✮

The RN will assist the provider throughout a Cardiology clinic with duties including but not limited to:

• Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for scheduled procedures and assist in patient assessments.
• History and Triage: Accurately record patient history and perform basic triage procedures according to policy.
• Initial Assessment: Retrieve initial patient conditions, create nursing histories, and report to the appropriate practitioner.
• Examinations and Procedures: Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Medical Records: Monitor and ensure the accuracy of patient medical records, maintaining all required reports, records, and statistics.
• Supplies and Equipment: Ensure an adequate stock of supplies and well-maintained equipment.
• Compliance Inspections: Inspect the area daily for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards, taking corrective action when necessary.
• Appointment Scheduling: Schedule all outside patient appointments per physician orders and relay information accurately to patients.
• Communication: Take calls from hospitals and nursing homes, relaying appropriate information to practitioners in a timely manner.
• Test Results: Ensure test results are received and communicated to patients promptly.
• Patient Education: Initiate appropriate patient education.

✮ Shift: Monday - Friday / 8:00am - 5:00pm

✮ Pay: $30/hr - $34/hr

✮ Certification: Registered Nurse

✮ Work Environment: Cardiology Clinic

✮ Location: Lenoir City, TN

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
