Clinical Research Coordinator - (on-site) Relocation opportunity to VA
The Lead Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of candidates’ recruitment and enrollment for clinical research trials. 2-4 years of experience leading trials and managing people in the clinical research realm.
- You will be expected to identify patients who meet study criteria and develop an enrollment strategy to capture qualified candidates into research trials daily.
- You will be conducting community outreach as well to identify patients
- Once candidates have confirmed interest in enrolling in a study, you will create CRFs and meet with the patients to provide the informed consent documents and orient patients to the trial.
- You will ensure that federal/state/local regulatory requirements are followed, institutional operational research objectives will be met, and ethical obligations will be kept.
- You will work directly with Research Nurses, PI’s, and Data Managers to effectively put patients through the trial and establish productive relationships with colleagues, external and internal partners.
Key Tasks:
Case-finding, evaluation & abstraction of source documentation, case report form completion, database use & management, data abstraction & organization for presentation/publication. Utilization of multiple data capture/retrieval systems & interacting with health care delivery systems to identify, track, evaluate, analyze & submit subject data. Managing multiple studies simultaneously and managing staff.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- 3 years of experience management skills in employee leadership
