What are the responsibilities and job description for the CMM Programmer position at Actalent?
Description:
For launch and engineering changes review customer prints or other design data and develop measurement plan, complete the measurement of parts, and provide an accurate report in the format required by the customer.
For ongoing production measurements: Monitor the production schedule for programs where the CMM Programmer is responsible for measurements, schedule the time to complete the measurements, complete the necessary records with the data.
For Annual Layout requirements: Track when layouts are due, schedule getting needed parts from production, complete layouts, provide layout report
When there are non-conforming outputs initiate reaction plan to ensure that they are addressed.
Other dimensional evaluations as needed by CPI a division of Core Molding Technologies. (i.e. continuous improvement and research and development projects, tooling and equipment evaluations, etc.)
Keep Inventory of all gages at CPI a division of Core Molding Technologies in Unipoint Software
Track calibration verification due dates, complete or set up completion of needed calibration verification, complete records of calibration verification, take needed action to address failure of the calibration verification.
Research and recommend new gages and test equipment.
Complete studies as needed. using the other test equipment.
Complete needed Measurement Systems Analysis (i.e. Gage R&R etc.)
Participate in other Quality Department functions (i.e. APQP, PPAP, Internal Audits, CA/PA systems, Document control)
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Associates degree or 2 years experience working in a a related field
