What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Drafter position at Actalent?
Seeking a CAD draftsperson to work full time who has an advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla (plus). Experience with construction and architectural design required and structural steel is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret construction documents in order to create detailed 3-D models
- Assist Project Managers with shop drawing submittals
- Assist Project Managers in the management of construction projects which involves cost control, expediting, quantity take-off and scheduling
- Review and analyze project specifications
- Provide as-built drawings as needed
Specific Requirements:
- Associate degree in Engineering or Computer-Aided Drafting or related work experience
- 1 plus years’ experience in detailing in structural, 3 years preferred
