What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controls Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
This person will be supporting operations and manufacturing on the B Shift which is 6am-6pm every other Wednesday and every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Will work with maintenance if they are unable to resolve an issue to troubleshoot and resolve. 80/20 floor support versus small improvement projects. Examples of small projects could be reconfiguring HMI, control changes, adjust timers to make more efficient. Will be the go to person for maintenance team when issues arise.
Qualifications:
MUST
- PLC editing and troubleshooting in Allen Bradley(RS LOGIX STUDIO 5000)
- Minimum of 1-2 years working in a manufacturing environment, troubleshooting controls.
- Experience working with HMIs and motor drives
PLUS
- Robotics experience
- Associate degree required and bachelors preferred.
- PLC programming
