Description:
-Level 1 Trauma Center
-A CT technologist uses computed tomography (X-ray) equipment to take images of a patient’s body from different angles.
-Their work helps locate internal injuries and diagnose diseases.
-CT technologists prepare patients for exams by answering their questions and positioning them for minimal radiation exposure.
-People with good interpersonal skills and a desire to use technology for patient care will thrive in this role.
-While operating scanning equipment, trained CT technologists use industry standard techniques and radiation safety practices.
-They also help physicians interpret radiological images after exams are performed.
Shifts:
SEVERAL shift options including weekends, nights, day, week days, week nights- shift differential included.

Minimum Training and Education:
-Entry level candidates welcome, 6 months of experience is preferred
-Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology and one year of radiologic experience.
-Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
-Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
