Job Description
The Data Technician will be responsible for taking prescription orders and triaging orders from nursing homes. They will also need to be familiar with and able to explain prescription demo sheets, insurance information, and scripts. Additionally, they will work closely with the nursing staff to ensure directions are clear and occasionally assist on the fill floor if needed.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This position will have hybrid flexibility after the initial training period (90-120 days). During the training period, it will be fully on-site in Cedar Rapids. The hybrid schedule will allow 3 days from home, 2 in office.
Work Environment
They will be working in a casual environment and need to be able to sit and perform computer work for extended periods of time. The data tech will work a 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday, with 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (shifts will rotate but will be 8 hours with a half-hour lunch). They might occasionally be scheduled on a weekend if needed. After training, this role could be hybrid (2-3 days at home and 2-3 days in the office). Saturday hours are from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The week leading up to the weekend, they would get 1 day off and cut off a half-hour of their other shifts. Dress code is casual, and they may wear jeans and t-shirts but must wear closed-toe shoes. This is a long-term care pharmacy, not a retail pharmacy. This candidate will be working to fill prescriptions for nursing homes, assisted living, and group homes.
