Job Description:
- Performs a wide range of analytical tasks related to the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of electrical power distribution facilities.
- Projects include design of distribution facilities (serving residential, commercial and small industrial customers), relocation of existing distribution facilities, distribution system improvements such as minor expansions, conversions, and rebuilds.
Primary Duties:
- Creates work orders, job sketches, material lists, cost estimates, and updates GIS system for new jobs, property damage, and correction of errors to facilities.
-Using Arc FM GIS mapping -- placed someone with his group in Arkansas
- Normal day is to review the inbox with jobs from service reps and area folks meet standards and safety rules, design jobs and submit to Josh for approval. (90% of their day).
- After the fact job, following the after the fact map… not as common as it's after storm damage, etc.
- Creating work orders in SAP, will get trained on SAP for the lineman to do after hours and storm work -- monthly, not daily.
Doing similar work to Warren Silverhorn's team, just a little more variety
Level of Responsibility:
- Routine duties based on detailed instruction.
- Works under direct supervision.
- Responds to routine questions and problems within standards and guides.
- Follows established procedures to accomplish requirements of job.
