Actalent is Seeking a Design Engineer
Description:
This position will be a design engineer role that will be about 70% of the time working in Solidworks designing equipment and 30% of time spent managing projects with internal teams.
Examine requests from production or the field teams on what changes need to be made.
Use Solidworks and Autocad to alter any design or and design changes. Work with the product design teams on any large changes.
Contact vendors or switch suppliers to support production inventory.
Assist in implementing the change out onto the floor. Follow-up with staff to make sure process is being followed.
Make engineering change orders within BOM, PDM, etc.
Manage the ECN system for timelines, requests, etc.
Will be responsible for any follow up out to the field as requests come in. This position will be starting at $25/hr and will be located in Pella, Iowa.

Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Industrial Technology, Aerospace Engineering
2 years of Solidworks which can include schooling.
Must have off-highway equipment experience
6 months with Mobile Equipment Manufacturing
