Description:
Prioritize and effectively use allocated resources to deliver on plans agreed with the CEO and COO Drive the investigation of current and future drug targets to yield new mechanistic insights and identify new therapeutic areas for the company Responsible for laboratory safety practices and encouraging the use of best laboratory practices Effectively communicate work progress to different project teams, company leadership and external stakeholders Interpret and present scientific findings at internal and external research meetings Leverage a network of external scientific advisors, key expert leaders and consultants to develop and execute research activities Keeps well-informed of the latest scientific and competitive developments and applies the knowledge to project strategy Deliver on-demand data and operational insights to drive better awareness, utilization, and process efficiency around data Collaborate with the team to secure novel IP resulting from research discoveries Help expand the Discovery team by playing an active role in recruiting and retaining employees by fostering an environment for growth and learning The Director will oversee Remedy’s client's scientists and support all their internal and external scientific and professional activities
