Job Description

We are seeking 7 Design/Drafters to assist with an excess amount of requests and backlog work. This is a hybrid role where candidates can work remotely on Wednesdays and Fridays. On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, work will be from one of the following locations: Bay City, Flint, Macomb, Kalamazoo, Livonia, Royal Oak, Groveland, Howell, Lansing, or Jackson. The role primarily involves new service design work with a high volume of quick turnaround projects. The Natural Gas Designer will receive training to understand the natural gas utility system, design, and analysis using CAD (Microstation or AutoCAD) and GIS software. Responsibilities include preparing work orders, engaging in planning and research, field design support, mentoring, and adherence to industry standards.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month (Position is contract for 12 months plus with 2 years of backlogged work. Potential for direct for right candidate and performance)

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring Mon/Tues/Thurs on-site and Wed/Fri remote.
