Essential Functions: • Responsible for the division of Environmental, Safety and Industrial Hygiene Programs and ensure compliance with all applicable government laws and regulations • Serve as a consultant to managers and supervisors on accident-prevention and loss-control enhancements and provides interpretation of related policies and procedures • Work with Human Resource to administer the Workers’ Compensation program • Coordinate all training programs related to safety, ergonomics, accident prevention and first aid • Evaluate, review, and make recommendations on proposed plant layouts, equipment and facilities, assuring the control of the hazards which are potentially existent in the storage, handling or use of toxic material and harmful agents • Any other task assigned by supervisor or management Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced professional in the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS). The successful candidate will: * Be responsible for the continuous improvement of industrial safety programs across the Thousand Oaks campus * Provide expert level assessment support across the campus * Assist in developing and implementing a safety and health strategy across the Thousand Oaks campus Primary responsibilities include: * Assisting with development, advancement and implementation of the safety and health programs and strategy across the Thousand Oaks campus. * Advancing core safety and health programs to manage EHS risks primarily around industrial safety including: The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills; have a strong understanding of industrial safety principles and a proven track record in maturing programs and processes. The position requires the ability to collaborate cross functionally and to influence management across many functions.

Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
