What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electric Distribution Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
- Create distribution design prints per the Client's distribution design guidelines and standards.
- Specify distribution construction standards.
- Review, approve and stamp distribution designs and drawings.
- Mentor and train new distribution designers.
- Provide QA/QC of design projects
- Specify necessary materials per Client distribution construction standards.
- Perform and provide cost estimates to customers.
- Support distribution designers with customer related issues and expectations.
- Prepare new drawings utilizing AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Utility Design methods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVE Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Engineering
4 years of experience designing overhead or underground distribution
4 years of experience working with NESC codes
2 years of AutoCAD experience
