Electrical Engineer - Power Distribution (HYBRID 2-3x per week)
- In-Office Locations based on closest to you:
- Findlay, OH 45840//Lima, OH, 45801//Tiffin, OH 44883
- Shift: (M-F) 8:00am-5:00pm
Position Summary:
- Responsible for engineering distribution power systems and infrastructure within Ohio.
- Oversight and engineering of all electric power system facilities from the distribution substation to electric meter.
- Performing load flow analysis, coordination studies, developing circuit reliability and improvement strategies
- Assisting with regulatory reporting requirements and customer issues
- Assisting with current data assessment, designing and analyzing electric distribution infrastructure to support existing and new customer demand
- Investigating power quality issues, developing distribution automation schemes
Training:
- Provided with 1-2 years of hands on training & mentorship within direct team and organization
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
Additional Skills Preferred:
- Prefer experience with CYMDIST and CYMTCC
- Prefer experience with distribution overcurrent protection
