Description:
- Provides guidance and direction for other members of the electrical and controls engineering team.
- Plans and programs logic control system for functions such as sequence, temperature, pressure, flow, voltage, current and timing.
- Illustrates and describes the concept, installation and maintenance details of component functionality and system sequence of operation.
- Reviews schematics with customer's representatives to answer questions during pre- and post-sale of product.
- May confer with assembler and wirer to resolve problems regarding building of controls systems.
- Prepares all documentation necessary for production as well as customer support. (proposals, quotes, drawings, BOM, schematics, manuals, technical instructions, etc.).
- Works with suppliers and outside engineering consultants to resolve technical and supply issues, improve system features and capabilities; investigates sources of special equipment, material or devices. Obtains quotes, prepares requisitions and qualifies supplier components.
