What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engine Builder position at Actalent?
Description:
- Working within parts inventory – working with specialized engine tools and hand tools
- Pull parts
- Organize Build area
- Utilize technical knowledge to build engines - Knowing how the part will fit and get along with other components
- Attention to detail
- Interacting with entire team
- Putting together performance engines such as the Camaro GT4, or Corvette
- Hand assemble pre-built part crate engines
- Will use engine measurement tools such as board gauges and micrometers and will work with very high tolerances
- May also build aftermarket engines for customers used in old cars, hot rods, etc..
- Will prep work areas, pull parts, prep parts for assembly, etc
