What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Technician position at Actalent?
Actalent Engineering is recruiting for Engineering Technicians for a manufacturing company in Ripley MS. This is a long term consulting opportunity, with the option to go permanent if desired. This is a 2nd shift role, Monday through Friday. Some overtime may be required.
Description:
The Engineering Tech is responsible for supporting daily production in manufacturing. This will range from trouble shooting equipment, verifying BOMs, packing and ship test trials, working on process flow projects, and other duties as assigned. Technical experience in a manufacturing facility is required.
Qualifications:
- An Associates degree in Engineering or a technical program is preferred, pertinent experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Understanding of root cause problem solving.
- Ability to use CAD software (solid works or AutoCad) and Microsoft office tools.
- Understanding of Lean manufacturing processes.
